Just toss it and GO... no chains required*, and no powering down! The BOX ANCHOR sets on either side it falls. In deep or shallow water, it's fixed scoop design and narrow side panels set like a "cookie cutter" into sand, mud, grass or rock. Narrow side panels elminate resistance upward for easy retrieval. Wind or current changes are no problem - resets in seconds. The stainless stell stabilizing bar and return spring make quick work of locking the anchor open for use - or collapsing the anchor for compact storage. Hot-dip galvanized with stainless stell hinge pins, stabilizing bar, return spring, and nut for years of corrosion-resistant performance, including in salt water.

(*) while the Box Anchor works great offshore, it is advised that when using the Box Anchor offshore to use a length of chain on the anchor in the unprotected waters to compensate for the swell and to further reduce line chaffing.
